Fateborn Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Faenix Studios (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use Fateborn, our Android game.
Fateborn does not require you to create an account. We do not offer cloud saves, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. The game includes one optional rewarded-ad feature: after a character dies, you may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement to rewind that death where an ad is available.
This policy applies to the Fateborn Android application. It does not automatically apply to other Faenix Studios games, apps, or websites, which may have their own privacy policies.
2. Information handled by the game
Information stored on your device
Fateborn stores game information locally on your device so that the game can work. This may include:
- Your current life and saved game progress
- Previous life or death records
- In-game choices and gameplay state
- Audio and accessibility preferences
- Your analytics preference
This local game data is not uploaded to Faenix Studios as part of a cloud-save service. Fateborn does not enable Android device backup or transfer for its local game data.
Gameplay analytics
Fateborn uses GameAnalytics to help us understand how the game performs and how players use it. Analytics may include:
- App launches, sessions, and session duration
- High-level gameplay progression, such as life creation, age progression, deaths, restarts, and rewarded-rewind activity
- Broad gameplay categories, such as selected origin or race
- Technical, device, app-version, and diagnostic information
- A pseudonymous device or analytics identifier
We use this information to improve stability, balance gameplay, identify technical problems, and understand which parts of Fateborn are working well.
Fateborn provides an in-app analytics setting. Turning analytics off instructs the game to stop submitting GameAnalytics events from the app.
Advertising and consent information
Fateborn uses Google Mobile Ads to provide optional rewarded advertisements. Ads are not required to play the game.
Google and its advertising technology partners may process information such as:
- Device and advertising identifiers
- IP address and information derived from it, such as an approximate region
- Device, app, and network information
- Ad requests, impressions, interactions, and performance data
- Consent choices and privacy settings
We use Google's User Messaging Platform to present consent choices where required by applicable law. Where available and required, you can revisit your privacy choices through the game's privacy or consent options.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve Fateborn
- Save your local game experience on your device
- Measure game performance, stability, and gameplay flow
- Diagnose crashes, errors, and technical issues
- Provide and measure optional rewarded advertisements
- Respect consent and privacy choices
- Meet legal, regulatory, and security obligations
4. How information is shared
We do not sell your local game-save data or use it to build an independent marketing profile.
Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the game:
- Google / Google Mobile Ads for optional rewarded ads, advertising measurement, and consent technology
- GameAnalytics for gameplay and technical analytics
These providers process information under their own privacy policies and may process information internationally.

We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce our rights, protect users or the public, or respond to valid legal requests.
5. Your choices and controls
You can:
- Turn off gameplay analytics in Fateborn's settings
- Make or update available advertising-consent choices through the game's privacy or consent options
- Limit or reset your device advertising identifier through your Android device settings
- Remove locally stored Fateborn data using Android's app-data controls or by uninstalling the app

Because Fateborn does not provide accounts or cloud saves, we do not maintain an account-based deletion system. Data already processed by third-party providers may be subject to those providers' retention and deletion processes.
6. Data retention
Local game data remains on your device until you remove it through Android app-data controls or uninstall the app.
Analytics and advertising-related data may be retained by Google or GameAnalytics according to their own policies, operational needs, and legal obligations.
7. International processing
Google and GameAnalytics may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, providers use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect the game and its supporting services. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Fateborn is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Fateborn in a way that concerns you, please contact us at faenix.studios@gmail.com.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Fateborn, our services, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
